Shahzada Ahmad is a Ikerbasque professor, his scientific interests include materials for energy, photovoltaic devices and chemistry at interfaces. He studied Materials Chemistry and finished his Ph.D. in the field of Materials science. Subsequently he moved to the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, to work on surface and interface studies of electrodeposited layers in ionic liquids by scanning probe microscopy.
