Raísa Romênia Silva Vieira

Raísa Romênia Silva Vieira has a Ph.D. in Ecology and Evolution from the Federal University of Goias (UFG). She was awarded an Australia Award - Endeavour Research Fellowship to do part of her Ph.D. at James Cook University, Australia. Raísa does research in Conservation Biology, Zoology and Ecology, focusing on systematic conservation planning. Her current project is 'Efficiency of Brazilian public policies in conserving biodiversity and ecosystem services.'
