Leah Lessard

Leah Lessard is a doctoral student in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on the social processes underlying academic achievement during the middle and high school years, with particular attention to how relational and contextual factors can promote educational resilience among socially marginalized youth (e.g., based on social class, race/ethnicity, body weight).
