My work resides at the interface of animal personality research and community ecology. Although many investigations have documented effects of animal personality on individual fitness, life history, and population biology, the degree to which animal personality alters community level outcomes remains elusive. I use a variety of models to examine my questions including old field communities, social spiders, and acorn ants.
