Frank Glorius

Frank Glorius is a German chemist and W3-Professor of organic chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster. Professor Glorius' research program is dedicated to the development of new catalytic methodologies in organic chemistry. His research group explores a wide range of topics including the development and application of N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) in catalysis, C-H activation, asymmetric organocatalysis, chemo- and enantioselective hydrogenation of aromatic compounds, photoredox catalysis, heterogeneous catalysis, Metal Organic Frameworks/MOFs, and the development of reaction screening technologies.
