Efrat is a research scientist at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Efrat's research interests include hydrometeorology, hydrological processes, flash flood processes ‎and prediction, hydrometeorological modeling, precipitation ‎estimation from weather radar, spatial and temporal patterns of ‎precipitations, incorporating remote sensing information into ‎hydrological studies, surface water hydrology, climate change, ‎impact of climate change on environmental systems, drought ‎analysis.‎
