About The Author

Dr. Edamana Prasad is a professor in the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He is currently working as the Head of Teaching Learning Centre, where a group faculty from various science and engineering department of IIT Madras has been actively participating to organize various activities for improving the teaching-learning process in the higher education sector. He has been awarded the Young Faculty Recognition Award (YFRA) from IIT Madras in the year 2012, which is a prestigious award given to faculty who excel both in teaching and research.
