As a Ph.D. candidate, I conduct research on green and affordable housing solutions at the Virginia Center for Housing Research at Virginia Tech. I recently graduated from two simultaneous master’s programs in Urban and Regional Planning and Building Science and Construction Management. Prior to the two programs, I received a master’s degree in Architecture from Iran University of Science and Technology in 2011 and co-founded and managed a small architecture studio, based in Tehran. My goal is to develop my knowledge and expertise about the built environment to make the world a better place for everyone.
